Rare Fischel bentwood swivel chair circa 1920 in lovely dry condition. From a barbershop in the Scottish Borders.
The rise and fall is a strong steel worm screw and the original paper label is beneath the seat.
Usual shrinkage and splits associated with bentwood furniture - but solid and worm free. There is an honest whipped repair to the bottom stretcher which I’ve left intact.
