Unpolished antiques, well sourced, constantly changing stock
Our Modus operandi is simple enough - if we like it, we buy it.
But we're not collectors - we're here to sell things. And often we sell our stock as quickly as we buy it.
We’re based in North Lancashire and we get out on the road a lot.
We like things with history, we like things with texture, and we like things dusty and unrestored.
We have an established base of trade clients who trust our taste - dealers and decorators - and a growing number of private clients who know a good thing when they see it...
Showroom visits are by appointment only. Available Monday to Saturday most weeks.
In 2012, after relocating homewards to Lancashire from London, Howard swapped freelance journalism for Antiques.
Recently moving the business to a former Methodist Chapel with 5,000 square foot of floor space and 140+ years of history.
Plans to expand the use of the Chapel are currently on hold. However, we are still open to expressions of interest for future events and location opportunities for film, TV and fashion.

PURCHASE & DELIVERY
Payment can be made safely and securely through Stripe or PayPal using any of the leading credit or debit cards.
We also accept direct bank transfer or personal cheques.

Medium and larger/oversized items are hand delivered door to door using a blanket wrapped service. Dependant on size and weight prices range from £50 to £120.
Small sized items send securely by mail and priced accordingly.

RETURNS + REFUND POLICY
All payments are to clear our account before items can be delivered or collected (please be aware that e-cheques through PayPal can take up to two weeks to clear).
If any item has been misdescribed and after negotiation the buyer feels aggrieved, return of the item will be accepted within fourteen days of purchase and a full refund will be given providing items are returned as received.
*please note - we cannot accept returns or refunds for international delivery.
We endeavour to fully describe all items we are selling to the best of our ability including history, age, and any defects, marks, scratches, etc.
However, please be aware the items that we are selling are antique or vintage items and will in most cases have age wear. These signs of wear are normal and appropriate to its authenticity.
